You can count on the designer hailed as fashion’s new messiah in the early 2000s to give power to femininity, strength to delicacy. Those high-heeled buckle and strap sandals were designed by the famous shoemaker Mister Pierre Hardy as he worked for the shoe collection at Balenciaga for the « last » 10 years Ghesquière spent at the historical House.
Through all the spring 2003 runway show, in a rigorous black or a soft powdered beige, they elongate the legs, ensure a confident gait and contrast with tiny dresses or high waist skintight pants.
