SONIA RYKIEL
Cotton Jersey Pants (white)
French designer Sonia Rykiel’s career started with knitwear and one of the first things she did was to turn her sweaters inside-out, revealing the stitching which she envisaged as a new form of embellishment. This quickly became her signature and a very smart way to brand her garments without using the usual logos. This pair of deceptively simple cotton jersey pants sticks to the same principle, adding a quirky and interesting touch to a sleek and minimalist item.
Reference to her 1976 collection: inside-out stitching, frayed hems and visible seaming
