JOHN GALLIANO
Cotton and Silk Officer Pants with Contrast Piping (cream)
Throughout his career, John Galliano drew inspiration from the military and the beauty of ancient uniforms. Referencing famous historical films, such as “Barry Lyndon” for instance, his collections toyed with the idea of the military, but never in a literal way. These tailored pants are, in fact, a reinterpretation of 18th century styles, done in an innovative and contemporary way. The straight line elongates the leg, while the buttoned side pockets are a statement in themselves.
