Cropped Acetate Pants (grey)
Galliano’s work in the 1990s focused on historicism, poetry and romance. These statement satin pants wouldn’t have been out of place in the wardrobe of a notorious pirate, worn with a billowy white shirt and a black tricorne hat. If their shape does indeed bring the 19th Century to mind, the shiny satin fabric evokes the fun and lightheartedness of the 1970s, when a teenage Galliano first realized his passion for fashion and style, growing up in South London.
