YVES SAINT LAURENT RIVE GAUCHE BY TOM FORD
Cotton Laced Safari Skirt with Leopard trim (brown)
Brown, beige and khaki were key shades within the Spring/Summer 2002 Safari-inspired collection Tom Ford designed for Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche. This skirt, which we also offer in other colors, has the pencil shape Carine Roitfeld, Ford’s friend and faithful French stylist since his Gucci years, favored the most for day wear. Yves Saint Laurent himself always liked to refer to menswear staples and their neutral color palette. Paired with a simple white shirt and dangerously high-heels, the skirt became part of Roitfeld’s signature style.
